-- U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today announced the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) will receive approximately $3 million in assistance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the form of vaccines for children.
DHEC has been the recipient of more than $19.6 million dollars worth of vaccines from CDC in 2004. All awards were made under the Immunization and Vaccines for Children grant program.
The most recent round of vaccine delivery was announced by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
