WASHINGTON-  U.S. Senators Lindsey Graham and Jim DeMint today announced Richland County will receive two grants of $1,293,000 and $500,000, and a $2,033,000 loan to construct a water system to serve the Hopkins School Community.

The project includes in the installation of water lines, construction of a 300,000 gallon elevated water storage tank, and the rehabilitation of two existing wells.

The grants and loan were awarded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
