WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement on President Trump visiting the Boeing North Charleston facility. Graham planned to attend, but the Senate will vote later today on the nomination of Scott Pruitt to serve as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“I’m very disappointed I cannot attend Boeing’s celebration of the 787-10 today with President Trump. I am honored President Trump would travel to South Carolina to hear the Boeing success story. The South Carolinians who work at Boeing – and the Dreamliners they produce – are second to none.
“I look forward to working with President Trump to make it easier to create jobs in the United States, grow wages for working men and women, and rebuild our military.”
