WASHINGTON -- U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement on the nomination of Pam Patenaude to become the Deputy Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

“I’m pleased President Trump nominated Pam Patenaude to serve as the Deputy Secretary of HUD. She will be an excellent counselor and advisor to Secretary Ben Carson.

“Pam has a deep background in housing policy and understands housing programs as well as anyone I have ever met. She will work to create more affordable housing opportunities and streamline regulations. I intend to support her nomination and appreciate President Trump for making this selection.”
