WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement in support of the Trump Administration’s decision to temporarily ground the Boeing 737 Max 8 and 9 aircraft.  

“I understand and support President Trump’s decision to ground the Boeing 737 Max 8 and 9.

“I have confidence Boeing will resolve any concerns about the 737 as expeditiously as possible. 

“The Boeing Company is one of the gold standards of the industry, having produced some of the greatest aircraft in the history of aviation.”
