WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today joined Martha MacCallum on Fox News to discuss President Biden’s speech on Afghanistan.
- GRAHAM: “[President Biden] said, and I’m going to hold him to his word, that we’re going to get all the Americans out and all the Afghans out.”
- GRAHAM: “President Biden is clearly disconnected from the reality on the ground in Afghanistan. The [United Nations] issued a report just a month or two ago saying that al-Qaeda was in fifteen provinces in Afghanistan After this debacle, they’re going to be everywhere.”
- GRAHAM: “President Biden is clearly overwhelmed by this situation, and I think he’s in denial about what’s going on because al-Qaeda is there. There’s clearly no plan.”
