Statement From Senators Graham, Grassley, Feinstein, And Whitehouse Following Meeting With Special Counsel Mueller

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), along with Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-California) and Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-Rhode Island) today made the following statement after holding a bipartisan meeting with Special Counsel Bob Mueller regarding investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 elections and the circumstances surrounding the removal of former FBI Director James Comey:

”We had a very productive discussion with Special Counsel Mueller today on our parallel investigations to ensure each can proceed without impeding the other.  We appreciate Special Counsel Mueller’s willingness to meet with us, and both parties have committed to keeping an open dialogue as we proceed.”
