WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today released this statement after a phone call with President Donald Trump regarding Hurricane Florence preparations.
“I just received a call from President Trump about Hurricane Florence.
“He asked if there was anything his Administration needed to do that was not currently being done for the people of South Carolina.
“I told him we appreciate all that is being done, and the Trump Administration could not have been more responsive. I know Governor McMaster shares this view.
“The President reinforced this is a dangerous storm, and everyone in evacuation areas should follow the advice of Governor McMaster to evacuate while there is still time.
“I told the President that South Carolinians appreciate his friendship, dedication, and concern.”
