Graham on Israel and Morocco Establishing Closer Economic and Political Relationship

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement on news that Israel and Morocco will establish a closer relationship.

“Congratulations to the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu and Moroccan Prime Minister Saad-Eddine El Othmani on this historic achievement.  The Trump administration, through the Abraham Accords, has truly changed the landscape of the Middle East in a way that was unimaginable just four years ago.

“This agreement is yet another major addition to the list of nations who have embraced the Abraham Accords.  Morocco is a great ally of the United States and has a long history of embracing tolerance.  This agreement will allow for greater economic development and integration as well as further regional stability and security.  It is a win-win-win for Israel, Morocco, and the United States.

“To President Trump and his team, particularly Jared Kushner and Avi Berkowitz, congratulations on a job well done.”
