-- U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has awarded the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control a $2.23 million grant.
The funds will be used for chronic disease prevention and health promotion efforts in the state.
“This is good news for South Carolina,” said Graham. “Protecting public health of our citizens is a solid investment in the future.”
