Two Historic Charleston Landmarks Receive Federal Grants

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today announced two historic Charleston landmarks will receive Save America’s Treasures grants. The landmarks are:
  • $295,000 for Dock Street Theatre made to the City of Charleston Department of Parks.
  • $225,000 for the Aiken-Rhett House to the Historic Charleston Foundation.
The grants were made by a selection committee who evaluated each sites proposal for federal funding. The grants are administered through the U.S. Park Service. #####
