WASHINGTON- U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today announced Palmetto Project, Inc. in Charleston will receive a $1,189,191 Healthy Communities Access Program (HCAP) grant. HCAP grants provide funding to public and private healthcare providers as well as social service, local government and other community-based organizations to strengthen health services for the uninsured and underinsured. The Palmetto Project is a private, non-profit initiative to put new and creative ideas to work in South Carolina.
