Graham Announces More Than $2 Million for Orangeburg County Projects

WASHINGTON-  U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today announced more than $2 million in federal funds for projects in Orangeburg County.

Award recipients include:

Bowman
The town of Bowman will receive a $174,900 loan and a $100,000 Economic Impact Initiative grant to develop and renovate a nature park.

Elloree
Elloree Heritage Museum & Cultural Center will receive a $40,000 grant for the installation of a passenger elevator.  The museum was previously awarded a $55,000 grant for this project in 2005.

Holly Hill
The town of Holly Hill will receive a $954,300 grant and an $832,000 loan for infrastructure improvements.  The funds will be used for the installation of an influent buffering basin, upgrading and repairing existing pump stations, repairing collection lines, and purchasing equipment.

The grants were awarded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development.
