WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made the following statement on the passing of former U.S. Senator Mike Enzi.

“I was very saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of one of the greatest senators I have ever served with – Mike Enzi from Wyoming.

“I know this is a real gut punch to his family and legions of friends, including me.

“Mike was a budget expert, a strong conservative, and an exemplary and effective voice for the people of Wyoming. We recently talked about driving through Wyoming together with two fishing rods in the back.

“This is a heartbreaking loss for the Enzi family, the people of Wyoming, and all of Mike’s colleagues in the United States Senate. Rest in peace, my dear friend.”
